Jeep Safari

Experience the thrill of our jeep safari, another highly popular tour loved by our guests. Riding in an open-top four-wheel-drive jeep, you will enjoy a 360-degree view of Bardiya National Park and its diverse wildlife. Throughout the day, our knowledgeable guides will share insights about the different species within the park and highlight the ongoing conservation efforts to preserve these precious habitats. The jeep safari allows you to venture deeper into the National Park than the jungle walk, covering more of the wildlife’s habitat in the same amount of time.

Bardia National Park Camping

At Wild Planet, we offer our guests a unique opportunity to spend the night inside Bardiya National Park. Camping within the jungle allows you to experience what nightlife is like in the habitat of the beautiful wild animals Bardiya is home to. During the night, you will see, hear, and feel nature all around you. It is truly an all-immersive experience. You will camp in a tent and enjoy a home-cooked jungle meal and delicious breakfast.

Bird Watching

Wild Planet also offers a unique Bird Watching Tour. This is the perfect tour for you if you are a bird lover. Bardiya National Park has more than 500 species of birds waiting just for you. This tour can be done either by walking or by jeep. Within the park, there are also several watching towers we will visit to enjoy the incredible view, take pictures, and see all the birds.

Tree House

At Bardia Wild Planet, we also offer the unique experience of spending a night in one of our amazing tree houses. These houses are located in the community forest, which local wildlife use as a corridor. This placement provides a private and special view of the flora and fauna, allowing you to enjoy the jungle while resting in a beautiful tree house. Additionally, your stay contributes to the local community, supporting conservation efforts and sustainable tourism practices that benefit both the environment and the people living in the area.

Safari rafting

Wild Planet also offers its guests the unique opportunity of a rafting safari. Here, guests will enjoy the day floating down the Karnali and Babai rivers through Bardiya National Park. If you are looking for an exciting adventure full of adrenaline, this is the activity for you. This unique experience takes up the entire day and includes all food and drinks.

Tharu Culture Tour

Many visitors to Bardiya National Park are interested in learning more about the local culture and way of life in Bardiya. On a cultural tour, our guides will take you around the community, showing you the traditional Tharu-style homes and sharing what it is like to grow up and live next door to one of the world’s most important wildlife conservation areas. Here, you will also learn about the Indigenous Tharu culture and their lifestyle. Additionally, tourists will have the opportunity to enjoy authentic Tharu local food and experience their traditions firsthand in their homes, providing a rich and immersive cultural experience.

Dolphin tour

During the monsoon season (July-August), we also offer a Dolphin Tour. On this tour, you can see the fresh water Gangetic Dolphin in the Karnali river. This tour begins with a 40km motorbike/jeep journey to the prime dolphin watching point. On this tour, we will spend the entire day at this stunning spot watching the beautiful dolphins, eating, drinking, and resting. This is the perfect tour to chill out and enjoy a different but equally amazing landscape.
